Physical activity should be part of our daily and weekly routine. It is as essential as sleep and nourishment. Although many of us know that exercising will reduce the risk of disease and illness, the thought of exercising can be overwhelming. Myths that contribute to inactivity are that exercise has to be difficult, it has to hurt and you have to do lots for it to be beneficial. These are all false. Exercise is about enjoying a physically active lifestyle (e.g. walking or cycling to the shops rather than driving) that includes increasing your heart rate a few times per week.

Project Active realise that in today’s society time is valuable and through commitments not every body is able to allocate as much time as they would like to "keep fit". We also realise that gyms and health clubs are not to everybody’s taste where the feeling of being on parade can have negative consequences. There is also potential exercise time lost in travelling to and from the gym and also the cost factor of committing to a 12 month contract.

New Start Group Fitness
New Start Group Fitness Sessions offers classes such as Body Conditioning, Circuit Training and Boxercise we can all be organised at a designated venue. New Start Group Fitness can be held indoors and outdoors.
If you have a select group of friends or collegues or you would like to train with just one other, then why not organise a group fitness session.
Group Fitness can be used as team building activities but mainly to improve social ties, confidence and above all all else - improve health and wellbeing.
