Wellbeing for Business
Improve the health, fitness and wellbeing of your employees
Are you looking after your greatest asset?
Employers are increasingly viewing health, fitness and wellbeing as an important part of their employees’ benefit package. Most people in
employment spend 60% of their waking hours in work making the workplace a great place to promote the benefits of enjoying a healthy, active lifestyle. We work with a range of companies from sole traders through to multi-national businesses.
“Organisations that evaluate their well-being spend are more likely to have increased their spend this year and are more likely to increase it in 2011, suggesting that the investment is worthwhile “ CIPD 2010.
Some facts and figures:
The CBI estimated that last year 172 million working days were lost due to absence, costing employers £13 billion.
Stress-related conditions and musculoskeletal disorders are now the most common reported causes of sickness absence from work in the UK with 10 million days lost through stress-related illness and 9.5 million days lost through musculoskeletal disorders such as back pain with an average of 17.3 days per person suffering.
Obese individuals typically take 4 extra days absence per year and those who smoke six cigarettes a day or more have a 34% higher incidence of being absent than non-smokers and a 10% higher incidence of being absent for longer.

Here’s what our clients say:
“Ben has a very natural, friendly and interactive training style. His continuous support has helped to provide me, and many other employees at Audley, with a strong ‘can-do’ attitude which I think is half the battle when it comes to keeping fit! The feedback I have received from our employees regarding the content of the sessions and Ben’s training style has always been very positive. I would highly recommend Ben to any other organisation who is looking at providing something similar for their employees” – Mandeep Dhillion – Human Resources Audley Travel.
