My Story,
Before I embarked on the Think Differently programme with Ben, I felt lost in a sea of conflicting fitness advice. Mid-life had hit, and I desperately wanted to establish healthy habits to support my physical well-being. However, I was constantly starting and stopping, plagued by injuries, overwhelmed by the sheer volume of training options, and confused about how to progress my workouts. The connection between nutrition and fitness was a complete mystery to me. I lacked the knowledge and understanding to create a sustainable plan.
This struggle impacted my family life significantly. My energy levels were consistently low, and I was easily stressed and overwhelmed by the demands of a busy household. My frustration with my inability to get fit cast a shadow over me, leading to negativity that affected those closest to me. I knew I wasn't the best version of myself, and that weighed heavily on my mind.
Had I continued down that path, I envision a future of repeated failed attempts, a constant cycle of starting and stopping, and a pervasive feeling of frustration and lack of control over my health. I would have likely continued to feel like I was missing out on my full potential, always wondering what could have been.
I had previously tried various fitness classes, gym memberships, and running, but without any expert guidance. I cobbled together plans based on snippets of information, always aiming to "get fit and stay fit," while simultaneously trying to eat healthier. I even tried the Zoe experiment to better understand my gut health and blood sugar, hoping it would improve my energy levels.
When these efforts failed to deliver the desired results, I felt like a failure. I was willing to put in the work, but without a clear direction or understanding of what I was aiming for, it felt pointless. It was like hitting my head against a brick wall. Each failed attempt chipped away at my confidence, leaving me frustrated and disheartened. I worried that I would spend my midlife in this frustrating cycle, only to reach old age with preventable aches, pains, and potentially even disease, filled with regret.
The Think Differently programme, however, was a game-changer.
I had known of Ben's work locally and had seen his events on Facebook. After a quick Google search and an initial call to discuss my needs, he recommended the Think Differently programme.

I felt proud of myself for simply trying, and that pride further motivated me. By the end of the week, I knew I could do this.
That feeling is incredible.
I am excited about the future. I am pain-free, with no aches and pains that I had previously attributed to aging.
I feel strong, something I haven't felt in years and I am motivated and determined to stay fit and healthy.
I am knowledgeable and empowered, understanding the connection between diet, nutrition, and fitness.
I am no expert, but I have the tools I need to continue my journey and I feel compassion for myself, recognizing how far I've come and the obstacles I've overcome.
I initially sought a personal trainer, but I found a coach for life. I fully intend to remain a part of his tribe and join his adventures.
I was blown away by my success - My expectations were exceeded, and I am incredibly proud of myself.
