Gather your squad, lace up your boots, and get ready for a hiking challenge like no other.

Join us for an unforgettable team hike where endurance meets imagination.

We are challenging our teams to conquer as many laps of our scenic 4-mile trail as humanly possible within the 6-hour time frame. 

But there's a twist: Every lap has a totally different theme!

Our Mission: Every single step you take and every lap you complete raises vital funds for [Charity Name], helping to [briefly state the charity's main goal/impact, e.g., provide clean water to communities in need].

How The Challenge Works

It’s simple to understand, but a thrilling challenge to execute:

• Your Team: Your team will be assigned before the event day.
• The Route:  A designated 4-mile loop. A map and a GPX file for your GPS device can downloaded below
• The Clock: You have exactly  6-hours to push your limits.
• The Goal: Complete as many laps as your team can manage before time runs out. Walk, run or power-stride—just keep moving!

WHAT SHOES SHOULD I WEAR
For well-maintained trails and completely dry conditions, trail running shoes are often the absolute best choice. They are lightweight, highly breathable, and require almost no break-in period. Their flexibility significantly reduces foot fatigue over long distances, making them a favorite among experienced hikers prioritizing speed and agility.

For carrying heavier backpack loads, tackling uneven off-trail terrain, or hiking in wet, muddy conditions, always opt for mid-to-high hiking boots. These provide maximum ankle stability and are frequently constructed with completely waterproof membranes. While heavier, they offer unparalleled support when your muscles inevitably tire toward the end.

Regardless of the specific style, always prioritize a proper fit. Ensure there is about a half-inch of space at the front of the toes to accommodate natural swelling throughout the day. Look for outsoles with deep, aggressive lugs, and always pair your chosen footwear with high-quality, moisture-wicking merino wool socks.

• Base layer/fleece top
• Water / windproof jacket
• 2 x T-Shirts
• Woolly hat
• Gloves
• Sunglasses
• Sun cream
• Blister gear / plasters / First Aid Kit
• Depending on the time of year and forecast - Waterproof jacket and trousers, 
• Food & Drink (min 1 litre) 
• Walking poles if you have any concerns or niggles - Poles will help
• FOOD AND DRINK FOR THE DAY 

This list may read pretty full on but please remember the weather can massively change in minutes.

Worse case scenario is if an accident happens and you waiting for mountain rescue / emergency services to get to you, it could take 4/6 hours for them to get to you - YOU MUST HAVE ENOUGH KIT IN YOUR PACK TO KEEP YOU WARM, DRY, FED AND WATERED. (SELF SUFFICIENT)
