An unforgettable adventure in Norway with Project Active! Read more more about what james had to say here
The world around us seemed to fade away as we glided through the tranquil waters of the Nærøyfjord. The towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls that encircle the fjord created an almost ethereal atmosphere. Our knowledgeable guide ensured our safety while sharing fascinating stories about the fjord's history and geology. We even spotted seals basking on the rocks and eagles soaring overhead. The highlight of our kayaking adventure was stopping at a secluded beach for a picnic, Camping in Norway is a treat for the soul; waking up to the sight of mist rising from the water and the sound of nature waking up around us was the perfect start to our days. Although I did not join in with the main hike, I was in my element at the Fyord side campsite with my fishing rod, lost in the scenery and my thoughts. Our adventure in Norway was a perfect blend of physical challenge and serene beauty. This trip was not just a weekend break but a journey into the soul, a chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reflect. I highly recommend Norway with Project Active to anyone seeking an unforgettable outdoor adventure. Ben's planning, communications and logistics made it so easy from start to finish. I did not have one negative thought throughout. The trip was nothing short of magical. James Woollard |
